Ross and Thomas
Father, son, soulmates — always close however far apart.

Ross adored his son Thomas, so like him in many ways, and was very proud of his successes leading a creative life in the beating heart of music culture. Though geographically distant they were close in spirit and made time for lots of connections. Regulars on FaceTime, they discussed favorite books, music, and films, delighting in how often they agreed.
Ross was thrilled for Thomas when, a few years ago, he met Laura Gonzalez and her son Easton. He seemed to be smitten pretty instantly, and his regular calls to Ross were filled with new energy and optimism.

Ross and Thomas traveled far and often to visit each other in Manhattan or Guelph, Old Chatham or Edmonton — or headed for a special destination, or a great beach.
When they lost Ross Senior, they spent a few contemplative days in Amsterdam. With nephew and cousin Lee, they made a pilgrimage to a renowned tattoo artist in Austin.

Some of the unforgettable trips were with extended family — with the Greenburgers in Anguilla, the Fredericks in Jamaica and later Mexico for Ross's 70th, with the Mendells and Snodgrasses in St. Martin and Anguilla.

Most recently, on our last travel, we had a very special holiday in the Bahamas with Thomas's family, Laura and Easton, exploring the wonders of Atlantis — and celebrating a surprise engagement!
